How We Work
How we operate
01
Founder-Led Accountability
Black Lion Protective Services, L.L.C. has been led by its founder, William Picard, since 2011. Every client is assigned a senior point of contact, so questions, schedule changes, and escalations reach a person who can decide, not a queue.
02
Verified Coverage, Documented
Every patrol is verified and logged. Every incident is documented the same shift. Clients receive reporting suitable for a board meeting, an owner review, or an insurance file, so coverage is provable rather than assumed.
03
Security-First, Hospitality-Minded
Our personnel are licensed Massachusetts watch guards trained in situational awareness and de-escalation. What clients and guests experience is composure and courtesy, never an aggressive posture.
Engagement
Three steps from inquiry to coverage
01
Private Consultation
We listen first: your occasion or property, your exposure, and what a successful outcome actually looks like to you.
02
A Plan Built for You
Coverage, positioning, personnel, and contingencies designed around your requirements and presented plainly before anyone is deployed.
03
Accountable Execution
Licensed professionals on site, verified coverage, and reporting that answers to you through a single senior contact.
How a Detail Is Built
Three rings. One evening.
The principal
Inner ring
Immediate proximity. Officers dress for the room and stay close enough to matter — composed enough that guests experience only the evening.
Arrivals & flow
Middle ring
Valet, guest list, and movement between car, door, and room. Most problems are stopped here, before they ever reach the principal.
Advance & overwatch
Outer ring
Venue, routes, and the risk picture — built before anyone arrives, so the night never has to improvise.
